Life Drawing for Animation, Youth Workshop – Age 13-18 years with Sinead Lucey – Butler Gallery

In this life-drawing class for young people interested in animation, we approach drawing from the model with poses focused on movement. We look at how movement comes from feeling and as such they engage all the senses when we’re drawing.

Wearing sports clothing that allows free movement, the model takes different poses that allow for observation of physical and emotional expression. Participants are guided on how to develop drawing skills for short and long poses. Materials are provided and all abilities are facilitated.
