Marie Thorhauge

Marie Thorhauge is a danish designer specializing in character-design and visual development. Her work has a sophisticated nordic edge characterized by clean graphic shapes, and organic textures. Marie studied at The Animation Workshop and got a BA in character animtion in 2009 – with focus on design. She worked as head of design with irish Oscar Nominated studio Cartoon Saloon from 2009-2012. She went freelance in 2012 and started her own one-woman company in 2015 based in Denmark.
Clients include: Cartoon Network, Disney TV, Harper Collins, LAIKA, Hornet, Chromosphere and Mattel, among others.
