Pathways into Animation for 3rd Level Students
Pathways is a FREE, but ticketed, programme for students who are interested in learning more about careers in animation. It is presented by Cartoon Saloon and Lighthouse Studios in partnership with the National Talent Academy for Animation during the Kilkenny Animated Festival.
It will take place on Friday 3rd October 2025 in Cartoon Saloon ‘Barrack Street’ Studio, R95 WK60.
Based in Cartoon Saloon’s Kilkenny studio 2pm-5pm, the session will contain the following:
- ‘Beyond the Screen’ a career journey talk from senior Cartoon Saloon creative, Fran Bravo
- A Presentation by the National Talent Academy for Animation
- Portfolio Reviews for 3rd level students.
This is an invaluable opportunity for 3rd level students interested in learning more about careers in Ireland’s growing creative industries sector.
