PATHWAYS: 3rd level taster for secondary school students – BSc in Interactive Digital Art and Design course in SETU Carlow

During this 2-hour Art, Design and Programming Workshop participants will be taken through a taster of what it is like to be a Technical Artist. During this session you will complete a rigged model, animate, and add foley sounds. Your rigged character will interact with the environment around them by using a technique called Finite State Machines. This technique unlocks an immersive interaction and feeling of connection between you and your character, bringing them to life in the digital art world you create.

The workshop will be run by SETU Carlow academics, undergraduates and postgraduates of Interactive Digital Art and Design.
