Ten members of the Screen Composers Guild of Ireland will take part in a day-long music composition workshop in this screen skills event supported by Screen Ireland’s Stakeholder Fund. Composers will work in five pairs to collaboratively score and produce a music demo in response to an animation brief under the supervision of SCGI composer mentors. Participants will work towards producing music that helps tell the story, working in sync with the on-screen action. This event is designed to stimulate learning and skills in the area of composing for pre-school animation. Their musical outcomes and mentors opinions will be shared with the public through a live feedback event on Saturday 30th. Tickets to this fly-on-the-wall feedback session are available below.
